Rarities of Piano Music ©
The festival “Rarities of Piano Music”, held amually in Schloss vor Husum, offers something different from many summer festivals in repertoire which is largely neglected. The pieces may be by composers who have been forgotten because their music is unfashionable, or because their output was small. Other pieces are by better-known names, but less often played than their most popular works. The art of transcription for piano solo is another area of music which is explored at Husum.
