During the first years of freindship, Jonathan and Filip decided to organise small concert tours in Denmark and Slovakia, and together they studied Schubert and Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonatas. Already during the first rehearsals, their common sense for small musical and sound details brought into the feeling a sense of one organism without unnecessary words. They have played several recitals together with this program, and aſter some time with these pieces, they decided to make a recording. They spent almost two years on the recording, with breaks, and spent many months studying at the Royal Academy, to further hone their performance.
They worked for a long time with a highly giſted sound director Gediminas Sudnikavičius from Lithuania, who also studied sound engineering at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. In recent years, Filip and Jonathan have performed many recitals in several countries around the world and have made two professional video recordings for Danish television.
