The Husum festival 1997 ©
This selection from the 1997 Husum festival, “Rarities of Piano Music”, gives an impression of the variety of music heard over eight days. Some reviewers of earlier discs in the series have questioned the choice of pieces and it may be worth explaining. As usual  these are completely unedited live peformances, and therefore havc be acceptable to the artist. The other constraint is that we cannot duplicate repertoire already recorded under contract to their regular recording company. Within those limits we hope that the sequence here has plenty to stimulate the adventurous listener who likes to explore repertoire which is othertwise hard to find in regular concerts.
